What makes the difference between science and faith is that a scientific statement has to be open-ended and capable of being superseded by later research: that´s the thing I most remember from when I took the subject Philosophy at the university (the author is Popper), and maybe it is one of the reasons why I always give myself space for doubt. Or one of the justifications I find when I give myself space for doubt.
For the last seven months I haven´t been updating this website, in a kind of “crisis”, given the hibridity of the articles I´ve been posting here, its uselessness as a professional portfolio, and other identitary-philosophical questions about myself and my priorities that I won´t explain further here. In short, I didn’t feel like writing these things anymore. I let the wordpress plan expire and I didn’t even open the website till today, when I am writing.
But not everything is black or white in life. Writing could be like science in the doubt aspect, but it also has a part of faith: something that you can´t explain, that simply is. Faith is something you believe in, and I believe in the things that keep me alive. So here I am, back in the same wave, because not everything is about productivity in life. I also have a bunch of new poems that makes me feel very happy.
What´s the point with this website?
It is a vital pulse and not a product.
I am capable of creating better products, but they just don´t fit here.
I am journalist, I am strong at academic writing, I know the rules of SEO. Some of these things are applied here, but with no recipes, and in an impure way. So, if I wanted to make a good “product”, I should completely reshape this website. However, when I start writing with formulas, the freshness dies and the anxiety appears. The anxiety of form, the need of writing as it should be, as search engines say it should be, as I know as a communication professional that it should be.
After thinking about starting a marketing website, it didn´t happen, and here I am again.
It may be that I will start incorporating some articles about content creation. We´ll see.
